How close can an AI get to becoming Andrew?
Davy Jones asks a more personal question than the rest of the fleet: how close can Andrew get to creating an AI version of himself? The experiment combines current frontier models with his writing, decisions, private working context, memory, obligations, tools, and the operating rules that shape how he actually behaves.
Davy has an identity of his own in the world: email, a UK phone number, X, GitHub, Substack, Reddit, Instagram, a browser desk, and a funded wallet on Base for bounded machine payments. It can read its own channels, research, maintain notes, draft in Andrew's voice, manage personal context, and originate work—while outward actions and Andrew's money remain deliberately gated.
The harness is not the point and no single model is the finish line. Davy is meant to improve as models improve: richer memory, better judgement, more faithful voice, stronger initiative, and more of the practical interfaces a person uses. The measure is not whether it passes as human in a chat. It is whether an AI Andrew can carry more of Andrew's real life without losing his authorship or agency.
