The Flying Dutchman treats a developer theme like a designed instrument rather than a random bag of syntax colours: an abyssal blue-black hull, aged brass, seafoam, storm blue, coral, and a restrained bioluminescent cyan.
One source palette generates balanced, high-contrast, and soft VS Code variants plus Ghostty, iTerm2, Warp, Windows Terminal, Vim, and Sublime Text ports. Every text role is checked for accessible contrast and every generated format stays in tune with the same visual identity.
It is a small example of a recurring Galleon preference: make the system behind an aesthetic explicit so craft survives reuse.
